Our journey began in environmental consulting, where we worked directly with businesses, banks, and real estate brokers faced the challenge of ensuring their properties were meeting environmental standards, manufacturing was meeting or exceeding environmental standards and educating their teams to meet environmental responsibilities.
As the scope expanded to meet the needs of the oil drilling and refinery industries and concrete and hardscape companies, environmental scientist founded and owned TBK One emerged. From a simple but powerful vision: creating industrial cleaning solutions that protect both equipment and our environment, TBK One has expanded to be the go-to solution for many businesses.
Rather than accept the status quo, we took action— formulating, mixing, packaging, warehousing, and distributing our own line of eco-friendly cleaning solutions backed by scientific expertise and real-world testing.
Over time, we discovered that our infrastructure, knowledge, and capabilities could serve a broader purpose. Other businesses needed exactly what we had built: efficient, scalable solutions for operations, storage, and distribution.

Susan Anderson is a trailblazing entrepreneur, environmental scientist, and manufacturing executive reshaping how industries view waste, compliance, and chemical solutions.
As the CEO and Founder of TBK One and TBK Environmental, Susan leads two high-growth, women-owned companies that deliver sustainable, science-backed solutions to clients across construction, oil and gas, and manufacturing.
With a multidisciplinary background in physics, chemistry, and biology from the University of Texas at Arlington, Susan brings deep scientific expertise to the field. She launched TBK Environmental in 2009 as a niche consulting firm and scaled it into a multi-million-dollar waste management company known for its innovative W2V (Waste to Value) program. This signature program helps clients transform regulated waste into business assets, improving sustainability/ESG outcomes, reducing costs, and driving operational value.
In 2021, she expanded her impact by founding TBK One, a vertically integrated chemical manufacturing company specializing in custom blending, new product formulation, and eco-conscious industrial cleaners. From R&D through formulation, packaging, warehousing, and distribution, TBK One delivers tailored chemical solutions—including its proprietary NA1060 concrete remover—built for high-heat environments and high-performance demands.
Known for her people-first leadership style, Susan is a mentor, community leader, and advocate for sustainable progress. Under her direction, both companies have grown rapidly while earning trust as go-to partners for businesses seeking cleaner, safer, and smarter solutions.
